Well, there's some espionage, a bit of killing, scenes loosely borrowed in feeling from "Lost in Translation", and the end is as murky as bloody water.
Where the movie started is obvious - but where it ended up will take a bloody miracle to figure out. We know what happened, per se - but what did it all mean? Where did it lead?
The longer the movie plays, the more detached you feel from it. The roadmap of relationships - who's who, what are they doing, why does it matter - quickly and steadily falls apart by the end of this film (video I should say.) I started to wonder if maybe some of the scenes were actually hallucinations of the lead character, and if this movie was about her losing her sanity in a cut-throat, high-pressure corporate world?
You could only pray that it would be that good! But don't pray for too long. You may be bitterly dissapointed.
